The Heavenly Court of Madame Fantasiste
A brilliant quirky interactive period drama

When King Charles was restored to the throne in 1660, his muse, Madame Fantasiste, did not return. Nearly 350 years later, her weary courtiers, dressed in period costume, precipitate her return with blatant buffoonery, splendiferous spontaneity, amiable absurdity, tea drinking and trapeze. The Rogue, The Jester and The Fool perform improvised encounters combined with highly skilled vignettes on an opulent circular aerial structure as they cavort in their faded boudoir.

Passers-by and spectators are invited to luxuriate in this fabulously playful atmosphere and stay for a while, or partake in courtly games, dances and circus acts which all influence the direction of the performance. Popular at festivals and large-scale events. Highly interactive.
